TELANGANA AT DAVOS: BIG WINS, BIGGER CONFIDENCE
World Economic Forum
The World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos has become a powerful global stage, of late, and Telangana made use of the platform to announce its arrival. Under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the State entered Davos, Switzerland, in 2024 and 2025 to not only attend the international event as a participant, but also work as an ambitious growth partner and showcase its readiness to collaborate with the world.
From highlighting investor-friendly reforms to presenting Telangana as a technology, innovation, and green-energy hub, the delegation projected the State as one of India’s most credible, execution-focused destinations for high-value investments.
Davos signalled a new mood and marked a shift in tone and confidence for Telangana. Instead of short-term announcements, the State spoke about “scale, sustainability, and clarity of vision”.
The delegation also engaged with global CEOs, industry leaders, and policy makers to build long-term economic partnerships. The message – simple, clear and persuasive – sent out to the world at the WEF was that Telangana is open, stable, and ready to lead.
Sri A. Revanth Reddy
Chief Minister of Telangana
Telangana means business and Hyderabad is the safest place for investments. If anyone wants to invest in India, that should be in Telangana (Hyderabad) because we have skilled people; good educational institutions and systems are in place. The city is centrally-located in India, and has international connectivity. Our strongest points are defence, semiconductors, and green energy, while we are legends in India in the IT and Pharma sectors. This thriving ecosystem will be a great support to attract investments into Telangana.
